Since their debut in 2016, FEWS have matured. Still rooted in the same soundscape of references and preferences, they now appear more confident, less eager to convince and get noticed.
When the fuzz and the pounding get going on opener 'Quiet', it's as if the album says to you: «Relax. You're in good hands. I'll take care of you.»
And it does. It's perhaps not moving the goalposts, but it sure is good company. I mean, who wouldn't like a furry little power pop pet like 'More Than Ever'? Or '97'? To name a few.
